The Challenge
The previous design failed to guide users effectively through its segmented features, such as server type selection, which were underutilized. Additionally, hidden navigation systems made accessing basic functionalities like password management and customer support cumbersome. Subscription plans were cluttered, leading to confusion and reduced conversion rates.
The Solution
I implemented a new design that emphasized accessibility and clarity. Server type options for different needs (Streaming, Gaming, Torrenting) were placed prominently on the main screen to encourage usage. A side menu was introduced for seamless navigation, ensuring essential features were easily discoverable. The subscription paywall was simplified with transparent pricing and clear benefits to improve user understanding and decision-making.
The Result
The revamped design led to significant improvements in user engagement, session duration, and active users. The intuitive user flow increased the usage of server-specific features and enhanced customer satisfaction. SEO performance improved due to higher user activity, boosting search rankings and organic traffic. The design changes also resulted in better app store optimization, increasing user retention and conversion rates while reducing bounce rates.
